This beach is on the edge of the road, from where you can see the Fort of S. João da Cadaveira and Old Fort.
The cliffs and the Forte de s. João da Cadaveira, deployed on it, along with an impressive summer house, dominate the Spring framework. West beyond the Old Fort is the building of the ancient Baths of Puddle, current holiday colony.
Next to this beach, there is also a river, called Ribeira da Cadaveira.
Due to its size and its calm waters, is a very attractive beach for families with children, but is also much frequented by surfers between the seasons of autumn and spring, when the sea is more conducive for surfing.
It is still classified as a beach accessible to disabled guests.
During the bathing season is a guarded Beach and signposted and has a Medical/first aid Station.
